DeMilles Giant Corn Maze
DeMilles Farm Market Salmon Arm BC
The corn field maze at DeMilles Farm Market in Salmon Arm BC is a fun giant corn maze that you try to find your way through.
It's cheap fun for all and you can try to navigate it with or without a map.
There's locally made pottery and other wares, a nice seating area outside to have lunch from the deli or an ice cream.
We actually spent a whole afternoon there meandering through the grounds, and of course we went home with some delicious treats, fresh bread and other delicious home-baked goods, fresh fruit and great memories of a fun day.
You can go through the corn field usually around the beginning of mid-July (we went in August), and right through September when the corn is harvested.
Be sure to call ahead first as dates for the corn maze can change depending on the weather and growing season! Phone: (250) 832-7550
The maze is different every year.
We went on a beautiful sunny afternoon, not a cloud in the sky, and the beautiful Shuswap mountains in the background.
Once you're in, there are twists and turns everywhere...
After about an hour and a half... we finally found our way out :-)
If you're going on a nice clear day, like we did, be sure to take lots of water to drink while you're walking through the maze. It can get really hot when there is no breeze flowing through!
De Milles also has other interesting things to see at the market. Beautiful, colorful displays, old tractors, and a petting zoo with some friendly horses and other animals.
How To Get To Demilles: The Trans Canada Highway (HWY #1) runs right through the city of Salmon Arm. Just head west through the city on Hwy 1 and you'll see it on the south side of the road.
