Perfectly Pleasing Penticton RestaurantsPenticton restaurants are diverse and delicious. For a small city of 33,000 people, the city has some great places to eat.
Summer is a great time for dining outdoors. And many of our local restuaruants have outside patios where you can enjoy a nice relaxing meal. Or you can grab a delicious sandwich from our favorite deli and head up the road to the viewpoint on Munson Mountain and enjoy some really beautiful views of Okanagan Lake and the Valley. Here are some of our personal favorites and some recommended by locals:
Salty's Beachouse
Another local favorite of Penticton restaurants, Salty's on the Beach is a fun casual place to eat, located on Okanagan Beach.
During the summer you'll always see Salty's outdoor patio filled and people enjoying the fresh seafood and friendly atmosphere.
Salty's serves Thai and Caribbean cuisines and varied selections of pasta, seafood, chicken & steak.
The Black Pearl Lounge and Oyster Bar which is a favorite spot for oysters and martinis.
Penticton Pasta Factory
The Pasta Factory in Penticton is one of our favorite places to go for a healthy dose of pasta!
The atmosphere is casual, suitable for everyone and the menu is well...pasta, and lots of it.
They also have sandwiches, soups, chicken, steak and seafood entrees. Great for families!
Theo's Restaurante
Built in 1976 Theo's serves traditional Greek dishes and Okanagan/ Mediterranean cuisine and is a longtime favorite for locals.
They offer a lunch, dinner and group menu as well as a selection of Okanagan wines. If you're wanting one fine meal during your visit

Barley Mill Brew Pub & Sports Bistro Popular pub/sports bar. Great burgers, beer.
Bear's Den Restaurant Next to the Travelodge near Okanagan Lake. Small, quaint, great breakfast.

Cellar Door Bistro
China Beach Family Restaurant
China Palace Western Canadian Chinese cuisine, buffet style. Kids eat cheap by their age. Always busy.
Crazy Cat's Cafe
Cubby Hole Great soups, sandwiches and lunch menu.
Denny's Franchise, located in the Sandman Hotel Penticton, breakfast all day.
Dream Cafe A special restaurant, romantic, multi cultural menu, with a popular entertainment schedule.

Franchise; Earl's, great family dining and casual Penticton restaurants, is another great casual restaurant with a family friendly atmosphere and menu.
Pizza, pasta and burgers as well as hearty entrees are on their menu. If you enjoy dessert, you'll want to try
their Chocolate Sticky Toffee Pudding, and you won't want to share!

Located on the second level of Pentictons City Center Buidling downtown, Jose's offers a bright casual and family atmosphere, as well as casual evening dining.
With a Mexican/North American cuisine they're open until 11 p.m. and have an outdoor patio overlooking Main St.
La Casa Ouzeria
La Casa Ouzeria is one of a number of Greek, family owned, Penticton restaurants and another local favorite for authentic Greek & Italian cuisine.
They offer both lunch and dinner menus, and have a beautiful outdoor patio for summer dining. It's also a great place for a romantic dinner, but a bit pricy.
Lost Moose Lodge
The best BBQ and the best views are what Lost Moose Lodge are known for in Penticton and the Okanagan Valley.
If you want a delicous steak, burger or sandwich you truly won't be disappointed. A favorite among all Penticton restaurants.
They're located high above the valley a few kilometers outside of Penticton. You'll want to take a hearty appetite and your camera!
