How We Built This Website
First of all, we'd like to thank you for visiting Okanagan Vacation Guide!
We sincerely hope the information presented in this site is of great value to you.
We'd like to share with you how, together, our love and passion for travel in the Okanagan
and SBI, Site Build It!, we were able to create this website. It's a true labour of love for us!
My name is Erika and I am blessed to live in the Okanagan Valley
in beautiful British Columbia Canada for the past 15 years.
It really began when I was young. I remember many a travel to the Okanagan
with my parents and siblings, to visit family here.
Coming to British Columbia Canada from the prairies, (the flat western Canada provinces Saskatchewan and Alberta),
the Okanagan mountains seemed so huge in my young eyes.
Fruit trees, beaches and all the outdoor swimming pools were quite something of a dream vacation!
Summer visits to Winfield BC, near Kelowna, where our cousins lived, and family holidays
here created so many treasured memories for us.
Kelowna was a much smaller city back then, and I still remember the old famous
Flintstones amusement park
where the 40 foot statue of Fred Flintstones stood at the gate to greet visitors!
Now, many years later and with my own family, we continue to travel and explore the region, winter and summer,
fully enjoying all that this magical paradise has to offer. We've also made the Okanagan our home and would
never live anywhere else!
And our passion is to share this beautiful part of Canada with the world!
We Learned How To Build A Website - SBI Site Build It
