Okanagan July events, festivals and celebrations are plentiful and fun for all ages.
When July rolls around the farmer's markets are well under way, orchards and fruit stands are stocked with fruit in season, boats are out on the lakes, and beach lovers are settling in to the relaxation of summer holidays.
The July 1 Canada Day holiday is a busy long weekend holiday and the beginning of summer vacation.
Everything is alive and busy around the valley, and the weather is just perfect. :-)

Osoyoos Cherry Fiesta - Osoyoos, BC
If you're in Osoyoos BC on the July long weekend, the annual Cherry Fiesta is a must do!
It's a great holiday weekend filled with fun entertainment, a pancake breakfast, parade, crafts and foods fair, lots of fun activities for kids, a pie eating competition, a cherry pit spitting competition, and a fantastic fireworks show that evening.

Cherry Fair - Kelowna
O'Keefe Days - Vernon BC
O'Keefe Days at the historic ranch just outside of Vernon BC has an annual 'Cowboy Festival Ranch rodeo' with a campfire, cowboy poetry, fun kids activities and more for families.
Early ranches in the Okanagan and British Columbia, were their own communities with a post office, blacksmith shop and a church. There are a number of historic buildings and interesting displays from the cattle ranching days in the Okanagan Valley.
