If you're in Osoyoos BC on the July long weekend, the annual Cherry Fiesta is a must do! It's a great holiday weekend filled with fun entertainment, a pancake breakfast, parade, crafts and foods fair, lots of fun activities for kids, a pie eating competition, a cherry pit spitting competition, and a fantastic fireworks show that evening. The Vernon Funtastic Festival features an adult Slo Pitch Tournament & a Music Festival with various performers. The Festival grounds are located 2 Minutes South of Vernon on Hwy 97. The ball tournament is an adult tournament and takes place rain or shine. There are more than 300 teams participating in this tournamet! The music festival takes place, beginning on the first evening, with fireworks on July 1 to celebrate Canada Day.

Shuswap Festival of the Arts
Cost: Adult Pass $5.00 for entire show Student Pass $3.00 entire showChildren under 10 free when accompanied by an adult. Children's Day - Wednesday, July 14, 10:00 AM to 12 Noon NO CHARGE The Shuswap Lake Festival of the Arts Society was formed in 1984. Since then the festival has become one of the best art festivals in the region, showcasing beautiful works from many local artists.

O'Keefe Days - Vernon BC
O'Keefe Days at the historic ranch just outside of Vernon BC has an annual 'Cowboy Festival Ranch rodeo' with a campfire, cowboy poetry, fun kids activities and more for families. Early ranches in the Okanagan and British Columbia, were their own communities with a post office, blacksmith shop and a church. There are a number of historic buildings and interesting displays from the cattle ranching days in the Okanagan Valley.
