When you arrive at Kelowna airport you'll be welcomed by a comfortable, friendly air port without the usual hassles and wait times of many other big city air ports.

It is located north of the city, just a short 20 minute drive from downtown.

And being centrally located, it's easy to get to anywhere in the Okanagan from there, within a short period of time - (1 to 2 hours)

The air port has undergone major expansion in the recent past to accommodate for the continuously growing number of air travelers into the Okanagan Valley.

You can park in the metered parking in front of the airport terminal building for about $1 for 30 minutes. It's directly in front of the main entrance, so not that far to walk for quick parking.

There is a short-term lot, long-term lot and metered parking. Both parking lots are fully lit and patrolled by security, and handicap accessible.

You can expect to pay $1 per hour for the first hour, then $2 per hour to a maximum $12 per 24 hours in the short-term parking lot, and $1 per hour to a maximum $8 per 24 hours in the long-term parking. You can use cash and credit cards at both the booth and the pay on foot machines.

As you arrive at Kelowna International airport and pass through Customs & Immigration, you'll follow a hall and ramp to the main terminal area where you'll find the luggage carousel and luggage carts.

That's it! No shuttles, no long halls, no multi level escalators!

In the main lobby you'll find a concession, duty free shopping, a gift shop, restaurant, cappuccino bar, car rental, a lounge and handicapped facilities.

There's also an information booth with all kinds of pamphlets, brochures, and other tourist information for sight seeing, things to do, etc.

Air port shuttle services, airport limosine service, and bus charters for golf, ski, and resort destinations are all available, as well as local taxi service to and from the airport.

Once you're in the Kelowna airport main arrival lobby you simply wait briefly for your luggage, and then go directly outside to catch a cab, golf or ski shuttle, or limousine to your hotel.
