There are more than twenty pet friendly Kelowna accommodations, hotels, B&B's and other lodging options that allow the family pet to enjoy an Okanagan vacation too. ;-)
On this page, we've provided information and listings for some great pet friendly lodging in Kelowna, plus tips for visiting the city with your pet.
First and foremost, if you plan to stay in a pet friendly resort or hotel in Kelowna BC with your dog or cat, we recommend that you call the hotel directly before making your reservations.
While you can make reservations online, calling a hotel directly will provide you with answers to any specific pet related questions, especially if it's your first time traveling with your four-legged family member. You also want to guarantee availability of a pet friendly room. Kelowna hotel booking should be done well in advance, and this is especially so if you need accommodations for pets.
Most hotels and other Kelowna accommodations that allow pets will have specific pet policies, charge an extra fee and a deposit for four-legged guests, and have limited, or 'designated', rooms available for travelers with pets.

Some off-leash Kelowna dog parks include... Knox Mountain (only a portion of the park allows dogs), Duggan Park, Enterprise Park, Cedar Creek Park (waterfront dog access to the lake), Mission Dog Park - at Mission Regional Park.
Taking your pet on Kelowna transit - Other than assistance animals that are certified, which are allowed on transit buses at all times, "only small fur-bearing or feathered pets contained in secure, clean, hand-held cages are permitted on the bus."
