What are the hours? Prices for adults and kids? Are you able to float all the way down the canal at this time? Thank you.
Await your reply, have a great summer. Hope to be there soon.
Okanagan Vacation Guide:
Hi Vickie!
Thanks for contacting us about the Penticton River Channel. This year (2011) Coyote Cruises which operates at the launch site of the channel is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
For a tube rental and a bus ride, the cost is $10. Rates are cheaper if the group is bigger!
A bus ride only is $5. And if you need your floatie blown up, that will cost $2 ($5 if it's a 'large' floatie).
Coyote Cruises no longer picks up at the end of the Channel, near Skaha Lake. They'll only go to the half way point on Green Mountain Road.
Floating the channel to the half way takes about 45 minutes, depending on the day, but not much longer than an hour.
If you want to float the entire channel, there are usually taxi's available to take you back.
(Please note: Coyote Cruises reserves the right to change their rates. Rates mentioned on this website may not reflect the exact amount they charge - although we were just there recently).
You can find more information about Coyote Cruises at www.coyotecruises.ca

We Hope To See You Soon!
