Flights To Kelowna International Airport (YLW)

Wondering about flights to Kelowna? As the main air travel hub for the Okanagan Valley, Kelowna International Airport services over 30 scheduled flights a day, direct, to and from U.S. cities like Seattle, Washington and Las Vegas; from major Canada airports including Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto and some direct flights from Mexico.

Flight times from Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary and Edmonton are about one hour (give or take 10 minutes). And you can find flights as cheap as about $60 Cdn on a seat sale!

If you're flying from Toronto, of course with the 3 hour time difference, you'll get here almost before you left ;-)

Well, not really... A direct flight from Toronto to Kelowna is about 4 and a half hours.

Many of these flights, though, connect in Edmonton, Calgary or Vancouver, so it's best to be prepared for a stopover. The good news is...on a seat sale, you can get a flight for as cheap as about $250 Can.

Canada Airports Connecting Flights To Kelowna

Calgary International Airport (YYC)

Air Canada and WestJet both provide non-stop flights from Calgary International Airport to Kelowna BC.

If you have a stop over in Calgary, and have to wait for any length of time, the airport has numerous restaurants, stores, and boutiques to shop in, or have a bite to eat, however, keep in mind that airport shopping and dining is a bit more pricey.

Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

Vancouver International Airport is the second busiest airport in Canada. From Vancouver Airport you can fly to Kelowna, or to Penticton airport.

Toronto International Airport (YYZ)

Toronto International Airport is the busiest airport in Canada. International flights arrive and depart in Toronto, from almost every destination in the world.

Toronto time zone is Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), which means they are 3 hours ahead of the Okanagan Valley, which is Pacific time zone. If you have a connecting flight here, remember there will be a time difference.

Whether you're traveling during summer or winter, once you arrive there are many options for flights to Kelowna and for getting to your final destination in the Okanagan Valley.

If you need car rental it's best to have those arrangements made ahead of time and a car waiting for you at the airport. If you're here for golf vacations or heading to one of our ski resorts there are numerous shuttles that will take you directly to where you need to go.
