DeMilles Giant Corn Maze

DeMilles Farm Market Salmon Arm BC

The corn field maze at DeMilles Farm Market in the city of Salmon Arm is a fun giant corn maze that you try to find your way through.

It's cheap fun for all and you can try to navigate it with or without a map.

You can go through the corn field beginning in mid-July (we went in August) through September when the corn is harvested.

We went on a beautiful sunny afternoon, not a cloud in the sky, and the beautiful Shuswap mountains in the background.

The maze is different every year.

Once you're in, there are twists and turns everywhere...
it didn't take us long to decide we should use the map.

After about an hour and a half... we finally found our way out :-)

If you're going on a nice clear day, like we did, be sure to take lots of water to drink while you're walking through the maze. It can get really hot when there is no breeze flowing through!

De Milles also has other interesting things to see at the market. Beautiful, colorful displays, old tractors, and a petting zoo with some friendly horses and other animals.

There's locally made pottery and other wares, a nice seating area outside to have lunch from the deli or an ice cream.

We actually spent a whole afternoon there meandering through the grounds, and of course we went home with some delicious treats, fresh bread and other delicious home-baked goods, fresh fruit and great memories of a fun day.
