Burrowing Owl Estate Winery

My wife and I visited Burrowing Owl last July on a recommendation from friend. During our visit we sampled four different wines, for which we had to make a $2 donation. I personally loved the Syrah. We enjoyed a late lunch on the deck, which offered outstanding views of the valley below. The food, wine and service were very good, but a little pricey. We were also disappointed with the limit on the number of bottles we could purchase. However, we do plan to return again this summer, also to visit other wineries in the Black Sage area.
